Is there any validity to the Reptilian conspiracy? What is the Reptilian conspiracy?
The Reptilian conspiracy theory posits that humanoid aliens, Reptilians, have infiltrated Earth to take over. According to the theory, these Reptilians can shape-shift and are currently causing chaos, instigating fear and hatred, and sowing negative emotions that provide them strength.
Also known as Reptoids, Reptiloids, Saurians, Draconians, or Annunaki, these aliens are said to live underground before emerging in roles of leadership. Leaders such as Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Queen Elizabeth II have been accused of being lizard people by those who believe in the Reptilian conspiracy, who also claim to have photographic proof.
This theory was started by David Icke, a former sports reporter who published "The Biggest Secret" in 1998 that stated that these reptile-like humanoids were going to enslave the world. Mostly, the theory is taken with as much seriousness as movies such as Godzilla, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, and the television mini-series V.
Of course, the Bible doesn't refute the Reptilian conspiracy directly. It does instruct followers of Jesus to "Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness" (1 Timothy 4:7).
