When humanity sinned against God, He chose to love the people of the world by sending His only Son, Jesus, to save the world of sin and death by His own death and resurrection. By faith in Jesus Christ, those who believe in Him receive the gift of eternal life, forgiveness of their sins, the indwelling power and presence of the Holy Spirit, and are called children of God.
